Job Title: Vice President, Technical Accounting

Salary Range: $160,000 /yr - $230,000 /yr

Location: 300 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA, 94025 - Must work from office three (3) days a week, work from home acceptable remainder of the week.

DUTIES: Providing accounting advisory support to Investment Teams, provide support on transaction accounting for complex deals and work cross-functionally to support the Investment due diligence process. Reviewing and providing accounting opinions on significant transactions under US GAAP and IFRS. Managing the accounting quarterly closing process of the vision funds and related entities and quarterly review of workpapers. Preparing and reviewing financial statements of the vision funds and related entities, manage the annual audits process. Leading the implementation of new and emerging IFRS accounting standards across the Group, engaging with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure impact on the Group is fully addressed. Providing accounting support to finance teams of the parent companies including the consolidation conclusions. Must work from office three (3) days a week, work from home acceptable remainder of the week.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in accounting, or related field and six (6) years of experience in Accounting/Auditing or in the job offered or related role.

Experience and/or education must include:

1. IFRS, US GAAP and financial instruments accounting, with the ability to apply that knowledge at a practical level within a Private Equity fund;
2. Financial reporting for Private equity funds;
3. SEC reporting and public filing;
4. Private equity operation knowledge;
5. Understanding of the financial audit process, US & Int'l audit standards, auditors' independence rules, and preparation of all audits related documentation (internal and external); and
6. Wealth and Asset Management industry experience.
