Senior Associate, Tax Reporting and Strategy (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Jose, CA. Provide management consulting services to clients and to their large corporate tax functions. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory tax developments. Determine strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments. Analyze the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals and addressing technology needs. Identify and address client’s needs. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, Tax or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, Tax or a related field, plus 1 year of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

-       Working with FAS 109 and related software, such as Vertex, Avalara, Beta Management, Organization Design, Process Improvement, Controls, and Risk Management;

-       Evaluating indirect tax processes and/or systems to effectively track data and manage costs;

-       Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel up to 60% is required.
