Tax Manager, International Tax Services (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Francisco, CA. Assist multinational companies to address their cross-border tax needs both locally and globally by managing their global tax rates, finding areas of cost reduction, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. Advise on and formulate effective and tax-efficient cross-border strategies for both US and overseas investments, while managing the global structural tax rate. Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities. Stay current on developments within the international tax arena that may affect a clients’ business, both globally and locally.


Demonstrate in depth expertise. Train and coach staff. Provide feedback in a timely manner.


40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $197,000 - $197,000/yr.




Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Law or a related field, plus five (5) years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience.


In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Law, or a related field, plus three (3) years of related work experience.


Certification(s) required US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar. Candidates applying with a PhD in the required fields are not required to possess the certifications.


Must have at least 1 year of experience with each of the following:


  • Assisting and/or advising companies to understand and assess the international tax impact of company business, operations and transactions in multiple jurisdictions;
  • Providing corporate tax services including tax research, compliance and consulting within an international taxation environment; and,
  • Conducting structural realignment, cash and financial statement effective tax rate analysis and improvement of tax efficiencies of cross-border flows.


Travel up to 20% of the time is required.
