Senior Manager, Accounting (Multiple Positions), DoorDash, Inc., San Francisco, CA. Manage daily accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits. Share ownership of full cycle general ledger financial close process and related activities to ensure complete and accurate financials following U.S. GAAP, including managing/reviewing close activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations within the established close timeline. Help manage the preparation of monthly financial reporting for management and U.S. GAAP presentation, including tie-outs to underlying detail. Help improve efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls. Help make decisions on continuous development of accounting policies, and standard operating procedures, assist with system implementation, conversions and work on projects for process improvements or data readiness as necessary. Partner with FP&A and Financial Reporting teams around monthly variance analysis, management reporting, and GAAP reporting. Participate in any company-wide training programs (WeDash, etc.) Telecommuting Permitted. (SMACC-B-102-CA).

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary range: $139,500 - $188,500/yr. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the field of Accounting Management, Finance Management, or related occupation. 

In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelor experience in the field of Accounting Management, Finance Management, or related occupation.

Qualifying experience must include the following skills (which may be gained concurrently);

1. U.S. GAAP;
2. Technical Accounting;
3. System Implementation;
4. Financial Reporting;
5. SOX Compliance;
6. Internal Controls;
7. Compliance reviews.

Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Up to 10% travel (domestic) based on business need.
