Strategy & Operations Associate, Dasher & Logistics (Multiple Positions), DoorDash, Inc., San Francisco, CA. The Strategy & Operations Dasher & Logistics team oversees strategic growth at DoorDash powered by best in class logistics operations. Building the future of same-day and flexible Logistics networks while also expanding Merchant selection and improving affordability for Customers. Mobilizing Dashers to meet Consumer demand in a cost-effective manner, and running experiments to better meet Dasher expectations and optimize Dasher supply performance. Analyze data to diagnose and solve problems at the lowest level of detail and use analytical modeling and SQL skills to understand the drivers behind our KPIs. Establish the value of new projects, and design and run operational experiments to build the future of Consumer, Dasher, and Merchant experiences on the DoorDash platform and inform our product roadmap. Work on cross-functional initiatives coordinating across product, engineering, data science, finance, and more. Telecommuting permitted (SOADL-B-103-CA).

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000/yr. 


Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field plus one (1) year of experience in banking, consulting, business operations/strategy, or related occupations.

Qualifying experience must include at least five (5) of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently);

  • Translating high-level goals into actionable plans;
  • Building models to evaluate the costs and benefits of different projects and experiments;
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to implement and develop business strategies;
  • Analyzing business metrics, including metric development, threshold setting, or geographic localization;
  • Developing models to predict business trends from a combination of proprietary data and industry benchmarks;
  • Reporting in Excel; and
  • Business Intelligence (BI) or analytics & visualization tools such as Chartio, Looker, Tableau.

Up to 10% domestic travel based on business need.
