JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Product Marketing Specialists in Cupertino, CA. Work on the development of new iOS features and define product positioning and messaging. Work on a global, cross-functional team with engineering, public relations, legal, marketing and communications through the complete product development cycle. Help drive the definition of broad, complex, and high impact products for worldwide markets, assisting in the development of the product line strategy. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to pursue in future products. Collect global customer, developer and partner requirements for future product development. Coordinate tradeoffs involving features, schedule, messaging and lifecycle management. Closely follow emerging technology, consumer and social media trends and make recommendations for how products will leverage of fit into those emerging trends. Communicate and position the product in relation to other products and the competition. Define product positioning and key product messages. Work with marketing communications and PR on the development of product launch activities, press releases, and marketing materials.
