Position Title: Architectural Designer

2 Positions Available

Duties: The Architectural Designer will work as part of an interdisciplinary team on architectural and urban design projects. Under the supervision of a licensed architect, the Architectural Designer will help inform key design decisions. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Support and assist in completing construction drawings, design studies, project sketches and specifications.
• Production of project sketches using 3D models and 2D drawing programs such as Rhino, Sketchup, Photoshop, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Collect and analyze information and generate alternative solutions alongside the project team and senior team members.
• Begin to help coordinate client and consultant deliverables with oversight of a project's senior team members.
• Prepares design presentations using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, according to the Firm's brand through graphic and drawing standards.
• Research methods to support projects with design ideas, sustainability suggestions and presentation coordination.

Minimum requirements and skill set:

• US Master’s degree in Architecture
• 1 year experience as an architectural designer, assistant, or intern
• Technical expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, In-Design
• Proficient hand drawing and writing skills
• Work in person in San Francisco office 4 days a week 

Annual salary for this position: $111,114 - $115,000

Hart Howerton, One Union Street, San Francisco, CA 94111

HOURS

9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
