TITLE:Senior Creative Designer

Job Description: Manages the in-house retouching team across the USA and India, as well as the home and flats photoshoot teams, by assigning daily tasks for editing and shooting, providing art direction on set, ensuring the highest priority product achieved a turnaround in less than 24 hours for launch. Overseeing sitewide visual asset management for apparel, jewelry, and home products to maintain a consistent brand presence. Collaborates with the Merchant, Engineering, and Site Design teams to address business-critical requirements, including unique requests such as new category launches. Established a consistent brand guideline that aligns with our strategic priorities and brand look and feel. Leveraged advanced AI technology to solve creative challenges by increasing social media conversion by 40%, creating a virtual set that substitutes for live photoshoots to reduce costs and speed up turnaround. Developed a custom mock-up tool from scratch for the merchandising team so that non-creative staff can independently generate designs. Trained teams cross-functionally on use which increases productivity. Conducts candidate interviews and plays an integral role in the onboarding process for all new creative team hires, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our creative vision. Oversees the hiring and management of freelancers by coordinating onboarding, scheduling, providing art direction on set, processing invoices, and managing future job opportunities, as well as keeping the brand integrity and brand vision creating consistency across all visuals. Collaborate with the site merchandising team and Engineering to build website pages using Contentful, ensuring that the design from Figma mock-ups was accurately translated into the live production website. Must appear in office 4 days per week; WFH 1 day per week.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Advertising, Graphic Design, Photography or related field and two (2) years of experience in the related role or job offered.

Experience and/or education must include: 

1. Figma and In-Design for creative work for graphic design for all outward customer facing assets.

2.  Capture One software for capturing photographic images that are used on the website for the selling of merchandise. Also utilizing various cameras to capture product images showing an array of products

3. Photoshop to edit product images for the purpose of selling merchandise on website

4. Produces photo shoots and oversees look and feel of the brand look and feel which creates consistency for the brand.

5. Shopify and other website backend software to merchandise website and organize products in a succinct manner that drive revenue  

6. Understanding of customer demographics which informs the look and feel of the brand, creating visual consistency through design.
