JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Human Factor Design Engineers in Cupertino, California. Perform design engineering specific to rapid prototyping of various software products and other related emerging technologies. Work cross-functionally with various Design, Engineering and Product Marketing groups. Design and develop highly functional prototypes based on platform specific technologies and modalities. Provide real world and testable UI applications which can be deployed on macOS, tvOS and iOS in a rapid fashion. Perform design engineering for applications, including Apple TV, Podcast, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, App Store, and tvOS platform. Support and create new versions of the applications. Actively support existing and new engineering design solutions for these projects as well as unreleased products and technologies. Update existing UI models and Multi-User and HomeKit frameworks, and explore new designs within these applications. Implement feature ready solutions for tvOS, iOS, and macOS. Meet with UI Design and Client/Server engineering to ensure that what is being built and proposed is viable and scalable on the platforms being investigated.
