JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Manufacturing Quality Engineering Managers in Cupertino, California. Lead team of Mechanical Quality Engineers responsible for assuring the highest quality standards for Apple products.  Develop process quality plans, supplier quality audits, and drive corrective actions and failure analysis efforts. Coordinate mechanical quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations. Develop and evaluate measurement systems. Manage projects using problem solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical analytical tools. Utilize mechanical fabricated parts, or adhesives, glues, jigs, fixtures, tooling, plastic parts, injection molding and high volume quality manufacturing engineering. Establish priorities and project assignments for the quality engineering team members. Develop personal and professional development plans for MQE team. Interface with internal and external groups to ensure that proper definition of quality expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product. Continue to expand the capabilities of the team and recruit new engineers. Coordinate and prioritize all Quality Engineering functions for multiple program for team members. Travel required 25%.
