JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Engineer Applications in Cupertino, CA. Design and develop highly scalable and reliable backend Java/J2EE server applications. Model and engineer identity management systems, including but not limited to authentication, authorization and provisioning. Develop messaging service applications through building robust and extensible workflows while analyzing and implementing server solutions. Define system specifications, including functionality, connectivity, and security. Develop enterprise applications  cater to high on-line customer traffic. Analyze and implement solution alternatives to existing and foreseeable architecture issues. Analyze software performance problems and implement optimizations. Review software source code to identify defects and performance issues. Analyze diagnostic reports and reconstruct failure scenarios to identify causes. Develop applications/dashboards to empower users to use the data for better efficiency and streamlined processes. Perform programing in Java/J2EE technologies, Single-SignOn, XML in Linux/Unix environment. Build environments for Continuous Integration using Jenkins, Maven, ANT and configuration management tools, SVN and GIT.
