JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Tools and Automation Engineer in Cupertino, CA. Design and development of test infrastructure, tools and frameworks for testing of software, services and data platforms. Execute all activities of software test life cycles for ongoing projects. Develop and execute test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts and procedures for both manual and automated testing. Integrate the testing infrastructure with the continuous integration and continuous deployment systems to ensure all of the tools, services developed are properly tested and meet the quality goals. Review the project requirements, design and code to provide feedback, recommend improvements and help with functional and performance testing of the systems under development. Write different types of tests for existing and new projects so as to ensure bug free software is delivered. Research new testing tools and strategies and evaluate the technologies to incorporate into the projects. Develop regression test suites to ensure the existing functionality works fine as the project evolve over time. Mentor and coach junior engineers. Establish, implement and refine quality assurance processes for the team.
