JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Engineering Project Coordinator in Cupertino, CA. Work with cross functional teams (Planning, Operations, MPM, and Finance) to identify the process improvements and systems required to enable scalability and operational efficiency. Eliminate supply outages and minimize high cost risk using cost management. Risk mitigation and negotiation with vendors. Coordinate with vendors to maintain product supply. Develop and execute cost negotiation strategy. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings. Develop and use cost bidding tools for cost negotiations including dozens of components. Collaborate with quality engineer to solve quality issues and ensure program success. Develop holistic view of the entire supply chain and drive overall operational and cost efficiencies. Support commercial negotiations leveraging the sustaining volume to get best deal. Develop vendor strategy, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to ensure smooth and successful product launch. Interface and manage expectations with external stakeholders. Travel required 30%.
