JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for ASIC Design Engineers in Cupertino, California. Architect, design, develop, and productize analog and mixed-signal circuits for system-on-chip (SOC) measurement and control within complex SOCs in industry-leading silicon processes. Research, explore, evaluate, develop, and compare alternate circuit architectures and implementations. Collaborate with other teams including digital, architecture, Computer Aided Design (CAD), technology, packaging, firmware, and software. Deliver detailed circuit designs for robust, reliable operation despite stringent technology and usage requirements. Develop accurate yet efficient behavioral models of circuits and circuit systems. Develop and run high-level simulations to validate top-level integration and operation. Hold detailed design reviews to expose development work to rigorous scrutiny by other experts. Create circuit and system specifications, integration guides, and other user documents. Define production and bench-top test-plans, drive validation and characterization tests, and analyze results.
