JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineers in Cupertino, California. Design and develop new software and user-facing features using React.js and Redux. Create insights with data visualization tools, including Highchart, D3, and GraphQL. Build user interfaces using web technologies. Articulate business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Translate designs and wireframes into code. Collaborate with Designers, Developers, and Engineers for the translation of user requirements and system objectives into Javascript web applications. Develop, support, maintain, and test software using software development tools, including Java, Spring framework, and REST. Test software using database systems, including SQL databases, MongoDB, HBase, and Kafka. Perform code reviews and redesign existing applications for performance and usability. Monitor factors that influence performance of systems at multiple layers and design and build the required tools. Support production activities requiring updates, anomalies investigation, propose solutions, and release of new features for existing tools and dashboards.
