JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Tools & Automation Engineers in Cupertino, California. Design and develop test infrastructure, tools, and frameworks for testing software, services, data platforms and applications. Execute all the activities of Software Test Life Cycle for ongoing projects, including requirement analysis, Test Planning, Test Case Development, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Test Execution, Defect Logging and Tracking, and Test Reporting. Develop and execute test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts and procedures for both manual and automated testing. Integrate the testing infrastructure with the continuous integration and continuous deployment systems to ensure all of the tools and services developed are properly tested and meet quality goals. Review project requirements, design, and code to provide feedback, recommend improvements, and help with functional and performance testing of the systems under development. Write Unit, Integration and acceptance tests for existing and new projects to ensure bug free software. Develop and run regression test suites on existing functionality as the project evolves over time.
