Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for its San Francisco, California office. 

Job Duties: Design, build, and own machine learning solutions to scale and expedite the home transaction process. 

Design, implement, and own the production-grade end-to-end document understanding flows to ensure reliability and 

faster iterations. Automate training pipelines to regularly retrain machine learning (ML) models. Build frameworks to 

continuously monitor the field performance of deployed machine learning models. Build engineering frameworks to 

collect feedback data for human-in-the-loop machine learning flows. Conduct production launches, model iterations, 

and infrastructure design, in partnership with the Applied Science team. Perform product integration in collaboration 

with product engineering teams.

Primary Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, 

or a related field, and three years of experience in: Developing and deploying machine learning systems into production; 

Software engineering methodology, including unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, code reviews, and 

design documentation; Machine learning techniques, including pre-processing data, training, and evaluating  models; 

Writing production-level code in languages such as Python or Java; Cloud provider solutions such as AWS, GCP, or 

Bluemix; BigData ecosystems such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark/PySpark; and Extracting and processing data with RDBMS 

and NoSQL.

Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data 

Science or a related field, and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: Developing and deploying 

machine learning systems into production; Software engineering methodology, including unit testing, test automation, 

continuous integration, code reviews, and design documentation; Machine learning techniques, including pre-processing 

data, training, and evaluating  models; Writing production-level code in languages such as Python or Java; Cloud 

provider solutions such as AWS, GCP, or Bluemix; BigData ecosystems such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark/PySpark; and 

Extracting and processing data with RDBMS and NoSQL.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
