JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software artifacts for payments reconciliation platform in Corporate Systems. Identify  optimal application architecture that will support distributed workloads for different levels of scale within the platform. Deploy Microservices architecture, configure task framework with thresholds, and secure distributed components. Analyze data patterns and design the most optimal way to organize/distribute data for the platform. Use application performance monitoring tools to identify areas of improvement, attach appropriate traces, and perform product development for improvement of product efficiency. Participate in re-architecture of the application to support deployments through Docker containers. Design and execute the engineering required to split Application Servers, Databases, and Data Feeds across multiple locations (DC’s). Identify and execute product engineering to support different levels of compliance and related controls within the application. Identify patterns of access to the application by users and assess methods of improvement for user experience.
