JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Cupertino, CA. Responsible for end-to-end testing of Apple’s CarPlay in-vehicle platform with internal development software and hardware. Work with cross functional partners to define specifications, design test plans, draft test cases, and collaborate on quality initiative. Draft and execute test cases to test CarPlay functionalities. Conduct gray box testing with 3rd party automotive head units with unreleased hardware and software. Regress, isolate and report issues found during testing. Work cross-functionally with other QA teams, developers, program managers to track project deliverables and have alignment on scope and timing. Consolidate and generate reports on a regular basis to showcase quality status. Modify and execute existing automation scripts. Provide guidance to automation teams to create solutions and test tools.
