JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Engineering Project Coordinators in Cupertino, California. Design, develop and coordinate activities for specific map data products. Define map data product requirements per country; for Area of Interest (AOI) features including launch criteria and maintenance thresholds. Define product quality acceptance criteria and participate in development of tools for validation. Responsible for the oversite of end of end process including operations build, maintenance process, evaluation process, and daily interaction with Operations and Engineering teams to maintain schedule and resolve issues. Analyze data in support of quality of input and output, including using specific analysis tools. Support cross-functional teams for on-going quality improvements in select countries for routing and display. Coordinate Sourcing and Legal teams to receive comprehensive approved list of sources. Investigate data issues that impact Operations or Engineering processes. Interact with data consumers regarding data usage and future enhancements. Suggest new map data enhancement for improved user experiences.
