JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Machine Learning Engineer in Cupertino, California. Design and implement large scale machine learning model to improve best quality web pages selection serving in Safari and Spotlight web search. Research, design, develop, implement and debug large scale machine learning and deep learning model for improving web index quality. Build robust and fault-tolerant big data pipeline for large scale distributed system. Diagnose machine learning model performance and failure scenarios to identify causes. Perform statistical analysis on petabytes of data and signals from millions of users and combine information from multiple sources. Analyze data pipeline performance problems and implement optimizations. Perform multithreaded programming in real-time systems. Review software source code to identify defects and performance issues. Work with Apple's Siri ranking team to combine cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques to build a universal search engine.
