JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineers in Cupertino, California. Research, design, build, debug, optimize and support large-scale distributed services to power an increasing number of features in the Apple Maps application. Build both native iOS and web-based internal tools both for the team and internal consumers. Collaborate with teams throughout the Maps organization for designing and building these services, including data, service, client, and human interface. Review and contribute to related work. Give feedback to the entire technology stack above the operating system. Work in a tight-knit team.  Design, develop, and support production of full-stack applications (APIs, services, infrastructure, administrative applications, database, and client).  Coordinate with teams both within Maps and across Apple to design integrated services and deal with external data vendors. Review code of other team members. Work with Maps product teams on the specifications and designs of future products. Work with other teams in Maps and providing engineering support to ship Maps features.
