JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Network Engineer in Cupertino, CA and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop network and security infrastructure. Develop workflow processes designed to work optimally within the context of Apple’s global engineering operations. Design operating requirements, capacities, and interoperability of Apple’s proprietary systems with third-party information processing software and IT environments. Enhance engineering and security standards, testing methods and implementation protocols. Enhance Apple’s documentation standards and requirements governing the preparation of written procedures, engineering diagrams and other technical documentation. Help develop and enhance Apple’s existing IT architecture, network environment and processes for greater security controls. Customize key network monitoring tools to support Apple’s technical and proprietary requirements. Work on strategies and techniques utilized by Apple to protect its IT environment as a whole from threats. Work on methods, approaches and standards used in evaluating, testing and implementing complex technical security solutions to protect Apple’s IP. Travel required 15%.
