JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Engineering Project Specialist in Cupertino, California. Plan, coordinate, and report the status of software engineering projects including and new graphics features. Work with the image (IMG) group within Apple Software engineering group to provide release and project services. Assist engineering team in identifying cross functional dependencies and concurrent releases. Align Apple engineering schedule and outside development schedules by coordinating with the vendor teams to assist with driver development across all Apple hardware and software releases. Track all commitments, deliverables, central process enforcement, and project schedules for all active programs. Maintain and influence multi-year roadmap of GPU software plans. Create a weekly report on the status of progress and blocking issues in plans for all active projects. Monitor bug progress across all current projects, driving those to convergence and ensuring they remain on target for current releases. Provide innovative solutions to issues and suggest new processes or improvements to current workflows. Coordinate demonstrations and presentations to cross functional teams and upper management. Attend a variety of cross functional meetings as a representative of the engineering team for all current projects.
