JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Engineering Project Specialist in Cupertino, California. Responsible for mechanical system integration on new Mac products from concept to product launch, with broad exposure to all cross functional teams within Apple. Support product design definition and drive closure on technical opens throughout the product development lifecycle. Work closely with product design engineers, vendors, and operations teams to drive delivery of parts to meet overall project schedule. Support prototype build activities; driving schedule, tracking issues to closure, managing experiments, and reporting progress. Communicate key developments and updates on new projects/products at all levels. Identify and highlight technical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with Apple engineers and technologists. Act as primary liaison between System and key technology/module teams. Drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives focusing on process within engineering design, build, and validation cycles. Travel required 20%.
