JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Tools & Automation Engineers in Cupertino, California. Design, develop, and execute Testing and Tools for Bluetooth Audio Products. Test planning, execution and validation of Bluetooth earbuds communication protocols. Creation and maintenance of dashboards needed for reporting status and results. Coordinate and drive testing with partners in China responsible for regression testing and other extended tests. Plan and execute end to end drain tests of Bluetooth earbuds product to ensure they continue to meet performance metrics. Test Planning and validation of lower level FW features to ensure product features do what is intended for customer. Utilize Python to create tools and scripts to assist in testing of new features and functionality. Coordinate and shepherd multiple cross-functional teams to test a specific feature or product. Create keynotes and present status of testing and validation of FW and product systems to senior leaders. Create problem reports for problem defects found and drive the proper issues to be fixed to improve product software / firmware / hardware quality. Create detailed test plans around features to be testing and schedule completion dates of said features testing.
