JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Engineering Project Coordinator in Cupertino, CA. Facilitate day-to-day activities to meet program objectives related to mechanical design, development, and engineering validation. Create, maintain and defend project schedules, assess and mitigate risk, and lead cross functional teams via effective communication and diligent oversight. Enable team success by crafting and monitoring a streamlined development plan, managing critical path, and driving timely issue resolution by coordinating with Product Design, Industrial Design, Operations, Reliability and other key cross functional teams. Develop, distribute and maintain MIL (Master Issue List) and maintain Project Budgets to track finance of a program. Prepare team to present to executives. Lead team meetings, document action items, drive follow up, and be accountable for communicating development and schedule status to senior management. Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners and facilitating problem solving and decision-making. Work closely with manufacturing suppliers and OEM partners to assist with the manufacturing process for new Apple product categories.
