JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California, and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop Cellular Software features. Create Intellectual Property and Patents for current and future wireless protocols.  Integrate, customize, and optimize GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR protocol stacks. Troubleshoot cellular stack and network issues and drive continuous performance improvements. Assist with interoperability and type approval testing. Investigate future cellular technologies. Develop cellular protocol stack features for best user experience using latest cellular technologies. Validate features and optimization using unit test cases. Participate in system integration, analyze and debug problem reports and provide timely software fixes. Participate in commercialization of the cellular baseband protocol stack software. Analyze issues from field tests, QA, and IODT tests. Develop fixes and provide validated solutions to complex problems. Design and develop cellular software protocol stack features for optimized power consumption. Implement cellular software features using C and C++ programming language running on real time operating.
