JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Manufacturing Quality Engineer in Cupertino, California. Oversee and guide development activities of quality teams in Manufacturing Design Group. Perform Project Management by setting expectations, clarifying responsibilities, and providing feedback for project team members in accomplishing tasks and goals. Provide input on program-related decisions and propose innovative initiatives and projects. Apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices in the development, analysis and release of products and subsystems through the product life cycle. Create detailed schedule for quality initiatives indicating critical path and key decision milestones. Facilitate communication and cross functional alignment within the Manufacturing Design organization and with other Apple teams. Maintain equipment SPOR (Supplier Plan Of Records) and track drawing updates to the SPOR vendors. Coordinate weekly exec level presentations, crafting the message and prioritizing the open items. Drive suppliers, integrate their deliverables and schedules into the overall project. Travel required 25%.
