JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Hardware Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Handles CAD development of mechanical designs for integrating new sensors into systems. Participate in generating innovative ideas and design solutions. Communicate cross-functionally on mechanical and design requirements. Brainstorm, design and implement infrastructure for characterization and validation. Fabrication of 3D prototypes, mockups, and design experiments. Working with machine shops and contract manufacturers for fabrication and assembly support bring up. Perform failure analysis and problem solving. Collaborate with electrical, software, and firmware based cross-functional teams.
