JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Cupertino, California. Lead hardware design, process development, troubleshooting and deployment of complex automation assembly systems. Design, implement and scale automated and semi-automated solutions. Engage machine suppliers for automated equipment design reviews and proposals, including delivery schedules, required documentation, and qualification for acceptance. Drive machine qualification operations, including correlation, process capability (CP/CPK) and Gage Repeatability / Reproducibility. Provide production support engineering, engage in complex testing and failure analysis utilizing statistical tools to ensure processes/fixtures are scalable and are continuing to perform properly once qualified. International travel required 20%.
