JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Production Services Engineer in Cupertino, California. Evaluate new products and tools and create services or platforms to offer them as a service to others in the organization. Evangelize internal platforms. Guide and build tools to streamline adoption for process improvements. Create CI/CD pipeline for auto deployments and auto scaling in Cloud infrastructure (internal/external). Design machine learning (ML) pipelines and write ML algorithms for sampling data to predict issues/potential failures from infrastructure. Design and deploy analytics/algorithm to measure features of requests and predict based on past learnings/training. Automate and create new infrastructure for expansion and new business requirements. Develop and maintain application services and drive incident management. Develop and maintain tools for automation of tasks and improvement of business processes. Review hardware, software infrastructure and application functionality to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks. Work closely with cross-functional IT organization, business group, Apple's production support team, application engineers, systems engineers, database administrators, and quality assurance (QA) team to effectively ensure implementation and reliability of platforms/applications.
