JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Design and develop software for Apple Identity Platform. Design and develop large-scale software systems. Design and develop customer identity management security solutions to prevent unauthorized access to critical applications and data. Design solutions for non-intrusively differentiating between authorized and unauthorized access attempts to application so that unauthorized users can be prevented without hindering normal user experience. Design solutions for high scalability and high availability to support ever-increasing transaction volumes. Write efficient, easy to maintain, high quality software with low defect rate. Write complete unit test suites for self-developed software. Follow software development best practices and use tools and techniques such as code reviews, version control system, application build utility, continuous integration, & automated test suites. Collaborate closely with members of other teams throughout software release cycle and assist in resolving application support issues. Develop patches for any defects and issues identified in production operation. Research the ongoing industry and technology standards related to security and application scalability to develop state-of-the-art applications.
