JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Design Verification Engineer in Cupertino, CA. Contribute to multiple aspects of the development of wireless subsystems by leading verification efforts of Wireless PHY design, integration of Baseband PHY with Radio model and upper layer SOC. Interact with DV methodologists, designers and communication systems engineers to develop top down simulation platforms, reusable test benches and verification environments deploying the latest methodology with metric driven verification. Create IP level module and sub-system verification plan/ Test plan, TB, portable test benches, sequences, test infrastructure to verify the design. Write Scenarios based on the test plan, run tests, debug waveforms, generate coverage, coverage analysis and improvements, nightly regression failure debugs. Work with all stakeholders including system architects, micro-architects, RTL design engineer and other Design verification engineers to resolve any blocking issues, reproduce failures seen in Silicon and verify the fixes. Create testbench with monitors, checkers, scoreboards, stimulus generators. Write test plan based on hardware architecture spec and write tests accordingly. Collect coverage and analysis for code and functional coverage holes. Waveform debugging.
