JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Hardware Systems Engineer in Cupertino, California. Design and develop consumer products. Conduct schematic entry and design of electronic circuits. Conduct physical design of circuit boards. Test and validate electronic circuits. Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems. Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations by authorizing detailed engineering requirement specifications. Work with cross-functional teams on the design implementation, risk management, validation plan, failure debug, suppliers and manufacturing partners to support the engineering builds. Plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems in order to improve technical performance for product development with a critical impact on overall designing. Design and develop electronics for iPhone programs. Lead the printed flexible circuit board designs in iPhone products. Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair by overseeing the design details (schematic and layout design). Work on signal integrity and power integrity with simulation tool. Design and integrate custom hardware into constrained systems.
