JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineers in Cupertino, CA and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design fault-tolerant, low latency and scalable restful services for the Agreements area of the Apple digital store, including but not limited to interface design, storage schema design, and object-oriented design. Document Technical Design and other product documentation. Collaborate with production operations, business operations, cross-national development teams, and the QA team for production operations. Implement, maintain, and improve agreements logic. Implement unit and integration (end to end) testing in Java using JUnit. Monitor production metrics in Splunk to troubleshoot production issues and work on production defect fixes. Perform code performance profiling using JMeter and other Apple tools to test if the application stays with Service Level Agreement (SLA) benchmarks. Analyze and improve code quality using Sonarqube. Setup Swagger API documentation for designing and documenting REST endpoints for Agreements. Deploy Swagger API documentation and other sections of the product on Kubernetes infrastructure using docker. Participate in code reviews for the team. Identify future scope to containerize Agreements product using docker and work on the deployment of the product on Kubernetes backend infrastructure.
