JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Product Design Engineer in Cupertino, CA. Design and develop mechanical parts and systems for new Apple products. Responsible for implementing 3D computer aided design work for mechanical parts. Perform 2D drawing development for designs. Oversee and implement prototype creation to aid in validating designs. Perform lab work and experiments to validate designs. Responsible for computer simulation work (thermal, optical, mechanical) to validate designs. Travel to suppliers to aid in tool bring-up and manufacturing trials. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all needs of the system are met (safety, antenna, thermal, electrical). International travel required 20%. $161,000.00 - $242,000.00/yr.
