JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Test Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.A. Responsible for specification and deployment of calibration and instrumentation systems for use during new product introduction (NPI) process and mass production. Develop, optimize, and debug software in C/C++/Objective-C, and Python. Specify and acquire equipment, components, and tools for use in a factory environment. Deploy systems to production facilities during development process. Analyze large amounts of calibration and performance data, providing recommendations for hardware updates. Debug from the system level down to the component level. Work with mechanical engineers to specify and validate the required mechanical fixtures for calibrating and measuring devices and components. International Travel required 25%. $161,000.00- $242,000.00/yr.
