JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Support and build tools and infrastructure for Apple test environments. Develop, manage and support Site Reliability Engineer tools and applications. Support and build tools and infrastructure for Apple test environments. Improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception, deployment, operation, and refinement. Analyze logs and telemetry data by writing monitoring and automation code to improve site resiliency. Provide on-call support to first level production support teams. Provide hands-on technical expertise during service impacting events. Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure improvements, and process enhancements. Responsible for scaling distributed systems in the cloud environment. Monitor, deploy, and debug docker container services in Kubernetes ecosystem. Monitor site reliability and performance and scale infrastructure to meet demand. Manage diverse systems with configuration management such as Puppet and Spinnaker. $161,000.00 - $242,000.00/yr.
