JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Hardware Development Engineers in Cupertino, CA. Responsible for pixel development engineering for camera systems.  Responsible for Image sensor characterization. Develop new sensors and handle implementation of new features for Apple products. Develop characterization setup for chip level, package level and module level evaluation. Utilize Matlab, Python programming scripts to analyze and present electro-optical sensor characterization data. Collaborate with global image sensor suppliers to evaluate and develop new image sensors. Develop and implement new characterization methods and equipment. Document and present detailed analysis reports to internal and external engineering teams. Work with camera hardware, software and technology teams to evaluate contribution of sensor performance to overall camera performance. Develop and implement test methodology, test algorithm at all stages of camera development to ensure good product performance. $161,000 - $242,000/yr.
