JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Design Verification Engineer in Cupertino, California. Create software to verify the functionality of pre-silicon hardware design. Architect and develop UVM based testbench for block, IP, SoC level hardware components, micro-firmware and verification models. Architect and develop verification IP and models for cellular networking protocols. Integrate verification IP/model in block, IP and SoC level testbenches. Review cellular networking hardware/micro-firmware specifications and create metric driven verification plans. Review, refine and execute the verification plans to achieve quality assurance. Define functional verification requirements based on cellular networking hardware/micro-firmware specifications. Drive verification tasks execution to achieve excellent quality using coverage-driven methodologies. Run and triage regressions, track bugs and analyze coverage to ensure the quality of the hardware design.. $161,000.00 - $242,000.00/yr.
