JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Product Design Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop structural and mechanical systems for prototyping and production release. Assess requirements and develop strategies to implement into the design. Create free body diagrams to understand loading conditions. Develop initial designs for analysis, evaluate design based on computer aided analysis, and release components for prototype builds. Build and test designs per requirements. Coordinate development of responsible parts with other teams and define interfaces. Work with vendors to include design for manufacturing. Release responsible parts for production. International Travel required 25%. $183,500 - $276,000.00/yr.
