JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Design Verification Engineers in Cupertino, CA. Pre-silicon verification of PHY/radio wireless ASIC hardware. Utilize cutting-edge EDA tools, methodologies/flows, and wireless protocol knowledge to execute test plans, develop testbenches/tests, and perform coverage analysis. Verification of wireless hardware design datapath and controller intellectual property. Develop and execute test plans, perform plan reviews with cross functional teams. Write functional models and scoreboards/assertions to stimulate real use models and check against expectations. Use advanced methodologies/UVM, simulators, scripts/tool flows, mixed signal models, software, and HDL languages. Perform functional coverage analysis and reviews to ensure all essentials states of the design are working. Collaborate cross functionally with Design, SOC, Systems, RF/Modeling, Firmware Teams to make product functional. Develop methodologies and verification IP that enable reuse at chip level and across multiple products. Prioritize verification efforts with experts understanding of IEEE standard use models. $161,000.00 - $242,000.00/yr.
