JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Design Verification Engineers in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop detailed test and coverage plans based on chip micro-architecture. Track and report on the design verification progress using a variety of metrics, including bugs and coverage. Ensure bug-free first silicon for part of the System-on-Chip (SOC) in Apple products. Execute design verification plans. Debug test failures. Produce fully functional first silicon for Analog/ Digital mixed-signal designs. Establish a design verification methodology, test-plan development, and verification environment development including stimulus and checkers, test-writing, debug, coverage, sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out, create vectors for ATE, bring up, debug and characterize Silicon. $179,000.00 - $278,000.00/yr.
