Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test II in San Francisco, CA to partner with development team to ensure test coverage and build test plans that help deliver high quality features. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience creating, maintaining, and executing test automation, including test plan and test cases. Prior experience must include one (1) year of developing and implementing standard methodologies for in-house automation, automated testing, multi-functional end-to-end testing, including device testing, and performance testing; utilizing JIRA for project and defect management; conducting framework design and development using knowledge of functions, classes and methods of data interaction, data file utilization, run time, data architecture and framework suitability; writing optimized lines of code to automate test scripts; tracking test cases and conducting test executions to achieve test automation benefits; supporting creation and maintenance of common services including CI pipelines; creating and managing test data for development and testing efforts; containerizing tests to improve the parallelization of the automated tests; and using automation tools including Selenium, Appium, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Salary range: $122,700 – $184,100 /year.
