JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Wireless Systems Engineer in Cupertino, California. Coordinate the overall system performance of multiple radio coexistence across a wide variety of products, for various wireless technologies, including Cellular, WiFi, BT, GPS, NFC. Define multi-radio co-existence performance requirements and test methodology. Ensure products are designed to meet requirements, both on a conducted and radiated level. Create design guidelines, review, signing-off on all PCB and flex layouts, system-level grounding, and shielding related to multi-radio coexistence. Design and implement test systems, both in a lab and manufacturing environment to validate performance. Lead manufacturing test and debug failure analysis efforts on-site. Interpret large amounts of statistical data across a wide range of test cases, across multiple wireless technologies. Debug and resolve product design and test issues. Mockup and deliver proposal of design changes to resolve any issues found. Innovate to develop implementable design solutions that optimize product performance. Develop hardware, firmware, and software solutions. Develop system algorithms to mitigate against any coexistence issues. Manage the process to ensure products meet all multi-radio co-existence performance specifications. International Travel Required 20%. $161,000.00 - $242,000.00/yr.
