Design, develop, and implement firmware, device drivers, and frameworks to accelerate video CODECs and video processing on graphics hardware. Bring-up device drivers for new hardware architectures in simulation environment. Identify performance problems and optimize software to increase throughput. Analyze workloads and optimize software to reduce memory requirement. Profile applications and optimize software to improve power efficiency. Implement test cases for current and new video workflows. Collaborate with hardware vendors to investigate and resolve test failures. Collaborate with Apple’s Graphic Driver team to troubleshoot problems related to graphic software. $141,378.00 - $196,500.00/yr.
