JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Test Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Verify cellular software of cellular modem integrated in the Apple cellular product. Design, test, and plan script on cellular emulators. Automate test procedures. Report bugs and follow up with development team to resolve bugs. Utilize diagnostics, analytics, lab/field experimentations as well as code/architecture review to exploit the opportunities for improvement. Automate test cases and task, develop test plans and perform functional testing for cellular protocol features. Work with network simulators and infrastructure drops and utilize 3GPP standards and carrier test requirements for LTE/5G. Define, develop and validate cellular modem system test cases for mobile devices using test development platforms. Utilize all aspects of Protocol software - PHY, RF, SIM, NAS, AS, IP, TCP/UDP and iOS interfaces, to ensure the most robust and customer friendly software. $140,650.00 - $196,500.00/yr.
