JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Module Design Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, develop and test qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. Work on definition and trade-off studies of camera optics, sensors, actuator, and packaging. Integrate camera hardware into products through collaborate with optical, electrical and mechanical teams. Lead off-shore manufacturing partners on camera design evaluation, module prototype builds, and qualification. Lead failure analysis and corrective action implementation at manufacturing sites, including assembly processes, testing and calibration. Conduct parametric-data analysis of end-of-line yield and post-reliability failures. Evaluate and debug camera hardware at module and product levels. Document camera specific design, test, and manufacturing requirements. International travel required 10%. $151,902.00 - $196,500.00/yr.
