Motive Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Perception Engineer for its San Francisco, California office.

Job Duties: Prototype, validate and iterate new computer vision and machine learning algorithm; optimize, productionize, and monitor/refine performance of ML models on the cloud and the edge devices; utilize deep understanding of the business and operational impact for different technology tradeoffs, and be able to balance effectively based on the company’s needs; enable other engineers on the team to be more effective through design and code that is easy to extend and contribute to; influence others and build consensus even over contentious technical debates. Promote ownership and good development process within the teams; enable other engineers on the team to be more effective through design and code that is easy to extend and contribute to; mentor junior engineers. Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Three years of experience in: Computer vision; Machine learning; Building scalable AI features for cloud and edge devices; Model optimizations for edge devices; and AWS.

Salary: $184,800 to $265650 per year
